Hi folks,
we've added an update to the community component that will give you greater control over the news feed that is shown on the Community home page. You can now choose to enable or disable a short summary description of the latest articles posted by your authors, community members that submit to the blog and forum contributions.
Feel free to keep sending us your suggestions at

One of our clients requested a simplified editor. We understand that people have been using different systems, and that the advanced editor we offer as a default can seem daunting to some of you.
We now have two versions of the editor in place: the same old editor for power users, and a simplified editor that is still capable of the most demanding text editing functions.
Choose which editor you prefer below and send us an email if you want to switch to the simplified editor at

Some of you commented that selected forum users like to follow updates in the community forums via their RSS readers. As a result, you requested Online Design Bureau to create an RSS subscribe option to forum updates, to facilitate this type of user.
This update is now live. For all of you who requested this, you'll find the RSS button now live at the bottom of your forum. Your forum users can also subscribe via their favorite browser.
If you didn't request this feature, but would like it enabled for your site, please email

Some of you asked us to make the social media buttons available on the blog post listing pages. This would enable users to share blog posts straight from the blog page, instead of having to click through to the blog post.
Always happy to oblige and improve our system for our users, Online Design Bureau has rolled out the upgrade for all of its users.
For those of you who didn't ask us about this, email us at

If you want someone to push a button, make it big, red and place it somewhere where they can't avoid it. Game theory has taught us that even if you don't explain what the button is for, if you make it eye catching enough, people won't be able to resist pushing it.
That is why we've integrated the retweet button into our system. Yes, people can already retweet your posts from the social media bar, but you can't make things obvious enough.
If you want to see an example of the tweetme button, you can see it in action on our blog.
If you would like the tweetme button enabled for your site, blog or parts of your website, contact us and we'll activate it for you. |
