Update all the content on your site

Monday, 08 February 2010 07:21

Update everything!

We have a new update that allows you to update everything on your site from now on, including modular content (content that can appear at different places of your website or overrides your template).

Content that is dynamically generated (e.g. menu items, database driven lists, etc.) are not editable from the front end, as they are generated by the software, not by an author.

If your website has elements that you can currently not edit, contact us, and we will change how these modules work, in order to give you the ability to give you more control over your site from the front end.

Build a community with your website

Monday, 01 February 2010 11:55

Over the last few months we've been working hard to offer community features to our clients.

Creating a community

Creating quality content is the foundation for being successful on the web, but what truly makes a website successful is your ability to create a community.

Creating a community starts with marketing: creating and engaging in conversations. When you move into a new house, you can integrate into your new community by visiting your neighbors, starting conversations with people walking their dog, complimenting people on their gardens, creating play dates for your kids.

Getting your brand known on the Internet follows pretty much the same principles. You must go out there and meet people where they hang out: in the major hubs on the Internet, whether it is Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, industry forums, etc.

Making your website 'sticky'

Build your communityAll this activity will bring your brand on the radar of your target audience and drive them back to your website. But this is where your website needs to take some of the work off your shoulders. Your website needs to give your visitors the ability to become part of YOUR community and facilitate conversations amongst your niche target group.

That is why we have integrated a community solution into our website offering. Know you can make your website even more sticky by offering visitors a community that revolves around their interests and your main brand offerings.

Features

Add a community to your brandYour brand, your community

Your community will live on your website, styled in your logo and house themes.

It will offer typical community features that allow your members to showcase their personalities and interests and connect to other members of your website.

Activity streamsAllow visitors to build automated activity streams

All activity by your visitors can be neatly presented on their profile page. Your community members will not only be able to create their own profiles, but their activity on your website or on social networks like Twitter will be neatly displayed on your profile. Your community members will have the option to choose to keep what information and what activities private or not.

Connect with firendsConnect with friends

Chatting amongst friends is central in your community. Members will be able to add friends and send private messages or interact in forums.

Because the activity stream allow each user a peak into their communications across the community, plenty of reasons and opportunities for communication are created daily.

Create groupsAllow members to create groups and manage them

Users will be able to create special interest groups and manage them with ease. They can choose to share their group with the world or keep it private.

Groups add an added interest in the community and can concentrate conversations for those users who want to deal with the clutter large communities can create.

Share photosShare photos

Creating photo albums to share with friends is as easy as 1-2-3! Get your friends to comment on your photos, and as an admin, delete the community photos you deem inappropriate.

Remember, you can always protect the value of your community: the system gives you have total control over your community.

MediaMedia Support

Supports Youtube, Vimeo, and more on community user Walls.

You already now that your community integrates with Twitter and Facebook. By adding media support, your community expands this integration to Video sharing sites.

Transform your brand into a hub

Allowing your visitors and clients to form a community around your brand, your industry niche and their interests is a win-win for both you and your customers and will help you create a major advantage over your competitors. Now is the time to create the first community in your industry and keep your customers loyal to a vibrant community.

Pricing

Throughout the month of February 2010 we will be offering our clients the community upgrade for $750. Because of the added demands this places on our technology, a yearly charge of $200 will also apply.

Upgrade for SEO clients

Monday, 23 November 2009 12:18

Hi all,

today our SEO clients will see an upgraded version of the their sitemap. Most of you will see a link on your site pointing to a sitemap that gives a simple overview of your site to the average user.

Sitemap Upgrade

The upgraded fulfills the following functions (not all of them are new)

  • Provides a HTML structured overview of your site to site users
  • Provides an XML sitemap to Google, Yahoo and Bing (some users who requested not to submit a sitemap didn't have their settings changed)
  • Provides an XML sitemap for news updates for those clients who run a magazine style website.

CRM Upgrade

Projects that are currently in upgrade are our CRM, that will improve on marketing automation and sales force automation. It will also integrate more effectively with your website, helping your sales team to convert leads to customers based on how the lead was acquired.

Free CRM solution for Charities

An alternative, FREE CRM version is currently being produced to help out non-profit organizations that require different needs from our CRM option. You will find this update soon in your administration panel.

Some limitations were expressed by one of our clients: how does a CRM help non-sales related departments? We conducted a quick survey amongst our clients who use their website most extensively as an INTRANET.

Project Management Solutions

Therefore we have started to develop a Project Management solution that will be featured in your admin panel for those paying clients who requested this upgrade.

Yours sincerely,

Lorenz
