Stumbleupon is similar to "Digg" and Reddit. You submit links to your favorite articles, in effect sharing what you've "stumbled upon" on the web. It's a great way to get page views for your blog or article site. That is, if you can GET page views, lol.

I'd say it's quite similar to Digg. On some sites, both Digg and Stumbleupon show up in the widget to promote the particular page you're looking at.

And I'd say it's not like a social networking site such as Facebook. I'm not sure if there's any prompting to contact other users there.

You're correct, Tagger. On Stumbleupon, there is no prompting to contact other members there. (Although you CAN contact them if you want to).

I think it is a good way...but really...havn't really had a super success with any of those and not sure how others get 100 views and more...must have to do with a unique header or a really astonishing post I suppose....
