The reason why I am a bit annoyed with Facebook's changes is that they do not have their user's best interest in mind. The primary reason why they changed their UI was to create more clicks, and enhance their ability to serve more ads. It is an issue for me that some of my short cuts are now and extra click away.

I do appreciate that Facebook wasn't profitable (in fact, the first report of Facebook actually making a profit was Feb 15 2010. So they've been profitable for 2 weeks (source: techcrunch.com/2009/09/15/facebook-cross...-just-went-positive/)

You're right. I set up a Facebook fan page some time ago and it was incredibly easy. The hardest part was finding the directions on how to do it. Thanks for sharing.

I've had a couple suggestions from Facebook friends lately to become a fan of pages that I thought were worthwhile, but I had trouble seeing how to do that.

Do you just click on the "likes this" button to become a fan of something now?

Yes, you used to have to click "become a fan" but now you have to click the like button.

These were some great tips and ideas posted by all. I also have a personal FB page. I was thinking of adding one for my business but I was not sure how to go about doing it.
