whenever I am writing a blog post or any other article for that matter...I try and be as simplistic as possible and do make up a story..even if I am writing in the third person...the beginning is always so crucial to winning the reader's attention all the way.

The one thing that I find annoying in blogs is the long rambling ones. The ones where it takes 10 minutes to read for one scrap of information that could of been summed up in a few paragraphs.

Some people have a knack for getting what seems to be just the right amount of personal anecdote into an article or presentation. I think that can really draw people in if it's done properly at an appropriate time.
